I know its a while away yet but we are coming up to spring and summer (well a few months away yet, but a girl can dream) which means lovely pretty dresses, shorts, cute tops, legs out and Bikinis! I do love this time of year, but it does some come with a little bit of added pressure to have a nice body, not everyone will agree, and its great if its not something you think about, but for me it is. Don't get me wrong I don't worry about it, I do like my body, but there are some things I would like to change before the summer.
Before writing more, I really want to make sure that you know that I do not think that having a nice body is SOOO important, its really not! The most important thing is to be happy, because the happiest girls are the prettiest, and as long as you love your body that is all that matters. I have seen plenty of good looking people, who once you get to know, have zero personality and it just changes my view completely, no longer as attractive as first thought.
My Problem is I need to put a little bit of weight on, but I have a really high metabolism, so its difficult to say the least! Most people that I speak to about this say its a nice problem to have, which to a point i can see. However it does annoy me how people think that being skinny, not slim.. SKINNY is really lucky. For me, its not, I want curves, boobs and to look less bony! When for some its just as hard to put weight on as it is for some people to lose it, I can't see how being Skinny is lucky and being overweight is Unlucky, there isn't really a difference.
Anyway, I don't want this to get too deep, the bottom line is everyone is BEAUTIFUL in there own way, being different is what makes life interesting. I just think that for me looking nice gives me a bit more confidence, which is a good feeling.
So what am I going to do about this?
Well, I have found some pictures that have given me a boost of inspiration, and I am going to eat healthy, but more calorific foods and just try and put on about a stone i think. Basically, lose the prominent hip bones and collarbones, and get a bit more boob! (If i can).
I'm sure its not just me who has this issue, please let me know if your in a similar situation or have any tips? x
P.s I know all of the women in the pictures below are Slim, but I think they look nice and healthy.
